My daughter turned 3 this past Friday. One very important birthday activity was to make the dough for the cookies that her friends would decorate at her party. I think she made sure to touch every grain of flour 😉
Oh, and yes, it turns out that I make bizarre faces when I cook, lol
So sweet and intent on her task. even my husband commented, (she reminds him of our granddaughter).
happy birthday to your daughter! she is doing a great job!
What a great way to spend the day! Happy Birthday!
Thanks for the linky.
Oh, that’s a sweet memory! Looks like a lot of fun too! 🙂
When my little boy is older I hope he will enjoy cooking with me.
Happy Birthday to your daughter!!! Great blog, new follower here. happy to have found your blog!
It looks like she had a terrific time! Happy birthday to your little baker! 🙂
Its so cute when little kids help out cooking. And don’t worry about the faces, I have many different faces for everything I do lol.

My oldest turned 3 last Monday and she had a hand in making the cupcakes for her birthday party. She wouldn’t have had it any other way! Requires more clean-up, and a tremendous amount of patience, but the pay-off is worth it. Happy birthday!
What a fun way to get her involved in the birthday party preparations!
Looks like she had a wonderful time. What a great mom. It is times like those that kids look back on with fondness.
