“I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting (#MC) for RadioShack. I received a gift card to facilitate a shopping trip and promotional item as a thank you for participating.”
Remember when you had to make your holiday list by page catalog after catalog and actually walking into stores and writing things down? Ok, me neither, but I have heard tell of such things 😉
I am definitely an internet shopper–I’m just not one of those people who enjoys fighting with throngs of people to get a deal or to snag a hot new item. I love the convenience of searching online and having my purchases appear on my doorstep. When I am forced to actually go into a store, you had better believe that I do my due diligence online first.
This year, Radio Shack took a novel approach to figuring out which products to discount–they actually asked their customers. They gave consumers the power to vote on both products and pricing in an interactive app on the Holiday Hub on their website. Well, the shopping public has spoken and the deals are up on the site! Some deals are just for Black Friday, some are just for Cyber Monday and some are ongoing…so make sure you don’t miss the deal you want!
A simple schedule to help you plan your shop attack:
11/28: Thanksgiving Day: Shoppers will find Black Friday deals of up to 80% off starting online at RadioShack.com
11/29: Black Friday: Stores open at 8:00am for Black Friday deals (mall stores follow posted hours)
12/2: Cyber Monday: Starting at 12:00am, Shoppers will find Cyber Monday deals at RadioShack.com
I know that a gaming system is definitely on my kids’ Chanukah list, so I will definitely be heading into Radio Shack to play with some sale options. We also have a family trip to visit my husband’s family coming up in a few weeks, so I’m thinking about some kid-friendly headphones…
