Loads of Children’s Clothing Recalls This Week

It's been one of those nutty recall-filled weeks…it actually seems to me that most of these clothing recalls are pretty nonsensical, but you can use your own judgement.  It seems that the CPSC just published new regulations about drawstrings which led to all of these recalls…

Lili Gaufrette Children's Hooded Cardigans with Drawstrings: These cardigans, sizes 4-14 in pink, brownand black. have been recalled because the drawstrings can come out and pose a strangulation hazard. They were made in France and sold in Nashville, TN and Monesey, NY from 9/08-2/10.

For additional information, contact JB Inc. at 212-279-7672 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday or visit the firm's website at http://www.liligaufrette.com/

Huge McNeil Voluntary Recall: Tylenol, Motrin and Zyrtec Affected

There's nothing like signing on to your computer and finding out that the entire contents of your children's medicine cabinet has been recalled.

Jeez.

My 1 yr old, who has fever as a result of her Chicken Pox and MMR shots took Infant's Tylenol before bed an my 3.5 yr old takes Zyrtec every night before he goes to sleep.  I'm not real thrilled right now, and am fighting the urge to bug the pediatrician at 11 o'clock at night.
