There is so much that is wonderful about the holiday season in New York–beautiful decorations, festive spirit, fun and tons and tons of presents.

One thing that can make the holidays even more special is a chance to share the holiday cheer with other families who could use an extra helping hand.

Mommy Nearest, a local resource guide mobile app for parents on the go, is teaming up with 92Y & Giggle on Giving Tuesday, December 3rd, to

host just such an opportunity.

On December 3rd, dubbed Giving Tuesday as an antidote to the materialism inherent in Black Friday and Cyber Monday, families can bring

their children to donate gently used toys and clothing at any of Giggle’s 3 locations, Soho, UES and UWS, or at the 92Y.

After donating, families are invited to to stop by the headquarters at the 92Y to take a holiday photo in a

branded MotorBooth truck. All participants who upload a photo to twitter or Instagram tagged #MommyNearest

will be entered to win an annual subscription to SPARKBOX Toys ($249 value).
