Since I heard that Lisa Loeb was going to be in concert in NY, I have had the lyrics to her 1994 hit single Stay (I Missed You) from the Reality Bites soundtrack going over and over in my head…
I was in high school when the movie came out, and, while I can’t remember much about the movie except that Winona Ryder and was in it, I definitely remember that song. (It’s all coming back to me, now I’ve got to rent that movie!)

Since Stay (Missed You) , Loeb has kept herself pretty busy–being featured on the Food Network and E!, starting the nonprofit Camp Lisa Foundationto send underprivileged children  to summer camp and launching her own eyewear line: the Lisa Loeb Eyewear Collection for Classique Eyewear.  She has also released new original music–some targeted to adults and some targeted to children–her latest is a book/cd combo, Lisa Loeb’s Songs for Movin’ & Shakin’ which Sarah McLachlan called: “…the perfect addition to our nightly dance parties.”
