What kid doesn’t love Build-A-Bear Workshop ?
Even the idea of schlepping downtown with two kids a bus in the pouring rain didn’t dissuade me from attending this awesome Moms and the City event. This holiday season, Build-A-Bear Workshop is holding their 5th annual nationwide toy drive, in conjunction with the Marine sponsored Toys for Tots. From December 2nd-4th, you can bring new or unwrapped toys into any Build-A-Bear store or make a bear at the store to be donated.
Courtesy of Moms and the City and Build-A-Bear, each of my kids was able to make a special bear for themselves as well as one to place in the Toys for Tots box. What a treat! They even had some face-to-face time with Bearemy, the Build-A-Bear mascot as well as some amazing Marines and their families.
Disclaimer: I was invited to an event hosted by Moms and the City and Build-A-Bear and received a gift card so that my kids could make their very own furry friends
