I must have 3 million points cards cluttering up my wallet. I have those mini ones that are supposed to go on your keychain…but they are stuffed in my wallet as well.
In fact, almost every time that I take out my wallet to buy something there is an avalanche of cards all over the checkout counter…
can you hear the barely audible sighs of the person standing behind me in line as I scramble to clean it all up??
Enter the Duane Reade app, which will, theoretically, lessen some of the card load in my wallet.
I walk into a Duane Reade at least once a day, sometimes twice or more (I won’t even count the times that I walk in and walk out because I forgot what I needed to buy 😉 How cool that with the Duane Reade app, you can refill prescriptions by scan, print pictures from phone, search for a store by location and sync your Balance Rewards card.
I have recently become obsessed with coconut water, which tends to be kind of pricey, so I was excited to see it in the beverage section at Duane Reade so that I could stock up. Who knew it came in so many flavors?? There was also some kind of aloe juice, but that strikes me as kind of gross…maybe I’ll try it next time.
While the store next to my apartment building doesn’t have a whole fancy refrigerator snack section, the store near our preschool does. I didn’t have a snack for pickup in my bag that day, and I was happy to be able to buy a snack of fruit and cheese instead of relying on the usual convenience store fare of crackers or raisins.
And, of course, I ended with the prerequisite impulse buy—a funky ice cube tray so that I can have cubes to fit in my water bottle. My husband was overjoyed 😉
