Mats, tumbling, parachutes, balance beam…and you get to take your shoes off?
Basically, The Little Gym had my daughter at hello.
Particularly on such a hot, hot, hot summer day.
What a bright, inviting place for a little girl to jump around! And a little bit of deja vu for mama–about 20 years ago, my little brother used to take a gym class in the original gym that used that same space!
It was particularly exciting to hear about The Little Gym’s new charity partnership with the amazing Soles4Souls. With the symbolic kickoff at this event, and beginning this fall with the 2012-2013 Season of classes, children and parents can donate shoes they
have outgrown or no longer need in special Soles4Souls drop boxes located in the lobbies of The Little Gym locations. All the shoes will be sent to Soles4Souls, which is committed to collecting and distributing shoes to people living in extreme poverty and recovering from natural disasters.
The challenge? One million adult and children’s
shoes.
With the way my kid’s feet grow, I know we’re up to a pair or two at the very least!
**I was invited to this event by momcentral at which I received promotional items and was reimbursed for travel expenses. All opinions are my own.**
