The Very Hungry Caterpillar Day is on March 20th (Giveaway!)

vhc-day

As much fun as it is to discover new and exciting books with your child, sometimes is it just as much fun to re-discover some of your old favorites with them.ย  The Very Hungry Caterpillar definitely falls into the latter category.

I can vividly remember turning the short pages which detail every piece of the caterpillar’s meal and marveling at the foods he chose.

I was also not surprised when my own children wondered aloud, as I did, how the caterpillar was able to eat through a lollipop with his teeny tiny teeth.ย  Author’s license, I guess.

I’m looking forward to celebrating this beloved classic (and hopefully the dawn of Spring!) with my kids over the next couple of days!

To make the celebration even more fun, I have a Very Hungry Caterpillar Apple playset to give to one lucky reader.
